I am a proud Texas Ex crafting engaging, informative and timely newscasts at KWES in Midland/Odessa. I love working alongside a team of journalists to share stories that matter to the community while keeping viewers informed. I'm able to tackle the unique challenges of the ever-changing newsroom with a calm, decisive and ambitious mindset. 

About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's of Journalism who is passionate about telling local news and telling the stories of the Latinx community. 

Throughout my time at UT, I've enjoyed learning how to produce multimedia pieces, write features and hard news stories, music and food reviews and producing newscasts that capture the different aspects of each story. 

Outside of journalism, I am a percussionist! I served as the cymbal section leader for the Longhorn Band.  I loved teaching fellow students how to perform at their highest potential. 

In my free time, you can find me perusing book stores even though I have about 15 books on my "to be read" list, anxiously watching football or re-learning drum rudiments.
